"In the beginning.... Christ!" While it may not be written that way in any of our translations, Scripture reveals it to be entirely true.
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1)
"All things were made by him (Christ) and without him was not anything made that was made" (John 1:3)
The God the Son's first interaction with the world was not as a crying baby in a manger, but as its creator. He spoke and light appeared. He called forth vegetation -plants yielding seed and fruit trees- out of the soil and they obeyed. His words blessed every creature with the ability to multiply and fill the earth. His hands sculpted the first Adam as a unique reflection of his own nature and authority. And his work was very good. His work was good because He is good.
The young lions do lack and suffer hunger:
but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
Psalm 34:10
